Prayers and Rituals

As a small, engaged congregation, we enjoy participatory worship at our Shabbat and holiday services, accompanied by piano and guitar. Our rabbi selects a combination of traditional and contemporary melodies, and often looks outside of Mishkan T’filah, our Reform prayerbook, for thematic prayers or readings for special occasions. Service attendees volunteer to lead readings, light Shabbat candles, chant the Torah blessings or Kiddush, and our fabulous volunteer choir enhance our High Holy Day and occasionally our Shabbat worship. We take full advantage of our Reform heritage to experiment and be creative.
