Tikkun Leil Shavuot (Study)

According to the midrash, the Israelites fell asleep at the foot of Sinai and had to be awakened in time to receive the Torah. In order to make sure we are ready to receive the Torah on Shavuot, it has become a custom to stay up all night studying. We won’t stay up all night, but we’ll spend about 90 minutes – or until people start to fade – learning together.
